Welcome to Young Adult Books Blog

I am so happy to welcome all friends/readers to this blog. It is my aim to read and review what is the best and newest in young adult fiction. If you know of new books that should be reviewed, please email me at pamelathompsonyanovels@yahoo.com which will elicit a quick response.

I am happy to read and review what other readers recommend. I review advance reader copies from publishers. Please see my Blog and Review policy page for details. I am happy to accept arc's from publishers.

About Me

Pamela Thompson: I am a YA librarian, reviewer, blogger, newspaper columnist and writer. My background is 23 years in education with a B.S. and MLIS. I review Advance Reader Copies for publishers and requests from authors. If I receive a book from a publisher or author, I put the disclaimer on the review. Currently, I am a ya reviewer and columnist for The El Paso Times newspaper. access my reviews at www.elpasotimes.com and type my name in the search box. I love YA lit and read as many new books as I can. I like to be able to recommend books that I have read and enjoyed. I find that working with students, they expect me to have read the best books and want my recommendations. My reviews are shared on a book website developed by a fellow librarian at A Book and a Hug. My blog is now a featured blog of the Texas Library Association. This blog was awarded High School Blog of the Year 2012 by the Texas Library Association. I also like to create book trailers for ya novels and have several on teachertube and youtube.
