About the book:
With Dwight attending Tippett Academy this semester, the kids of McQuarrie Middle School are on their own—no Origami Yoda to give advice and help them navigate the treacherous waters of middle school. Then Sara gets a gift she says is from Dwight—a paper fortune-teller in the form of Chewbacca. It’s a Fortune Wookiee, and it seems to give advice that’s just as good as Yoda’s—even if, in the hands of the girls, it seems too preoccupied with romance. In the meantime, Dwight is fitting in a little too well at Tippett. Has the unimaginable happened? Has Dwight become normal? It’s up to his old friends at McQuarrie to remind their kooky friend that it’s in his weirdness that his greatness lies.
With his proven knack for humorously exploring the intrigues, fads, and dramas of middle school, Tom Angleberger has crafted a worthy follow-up to his breakout bestsellers The Strange Case of Origami Yoda and Darth Paper Strikes Back.

Yay - thank you for sharing this Pamela! As an elementary school media specialist, I loved The Strange Case of Origami Yoda and so I encouraged one of my 4th grade teachers to use it for a class read aloud. They ate it up and it caused me to go out and buy 4 copies of the follow-up Darth Paper Strikes Back. One day in the lunchroom I saw 4 boys at 2 different tables with their handmade Origami Yodas! I can't wait to go back to school with this latest book, which is sure to start the year off right.

I introduced our 3-5th grade students to Origami Yoda a couple of years ago, made giant Origami Yoda bulletin boards, and then the craze kept going with Darth Paper! My kids would love to read another book by Tom. Sorry to say, our budget took great cuts last year and even more this year. We have been cut down to half of what we once had, which has been a fixed rate since becoming a librarian 13 years ago. This would be a great inclusion for our students. Thank you for sharing at any rate!

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda was one of our Virginia Readers Choice books this past school year. It is a favorite at my school, along with Darth Paper Strikes Back. Our students give us paper yodas to keep on display! We would love to win the third book. Thanks for the chance.

3rd- 5th grade students at my elementary school voted for The Strange Case of Origami Yoda during our Bluebonnet Award Program last year. Our copies of both Origami Yoda and Darth Paper Strikes back are never on the shelves as the students love Angleberger's writing. We would love to have a copy of his latest installment. It sounds just as good as its predecessors. Thanks for offering this contest!
